Photos from AFL Victoria's post ... See MoreSee Less

The Queenscliff Football Netball Club community is saddened by the passing of Tim Monahan, a former Secretary and long-serving volunteer of the club.

Tim held many roles over the years, including Secretary in 1978, timekeeper, team manager and barman - and was one of those people who would simply do whatever was needed. His contribution came from a genuine love of the Coutas and the people around the club.

Tim also played a significant role in the club's social history, helping bring people together for the celebrations of the 1975 Premiership - apparently reopening ‘chunder hill’ and creating memories that went well beyond the field.
We acknowledge Tim's service and thank him for what he gave to the Queenscliff Football Netball Club.
Our thoughts are with his
family and friends at this sad time.
